Twenty Catalan production companies to be taking part in the Sunny Side of the Doc

Some 2000 documentary film professionals will be coming together in La Rochelle between 24th and 27th June. Sunny Side of the Doc is considered to be one of the genre's foremost markets, given its vast attendance and international representation (with fifty different countries registered). Along these lines, twenty Catalan production companies will be there to share in the activities, offering different films for both cinema and television distribution.
Among others, the productions to be presented at the French market include Hollywood contra Franco (Hollywood Against Franco) directed by Llorenç Soler and Oriol Porta, and produced by Àrea Televisió and Televisió de Catalunya; Retorn a la terra lliure, directed by Oriol Gispert, Marc Balfagón, Jordi Sanglas and Marc Parramon, and produced by La Lupa Produccions, Mallerich Paco Poch and La Quimera Editora Audiovisual; and Topografia de la memòria (A Topography of Memory), directed by M. Dolors Genovés and produced by La Productora and Televisió de Catalunya.
